A little bit about me . . .
I’m Theresa Donlevie, but everyone I know calls me Tess. I think the name Theresa is way too formal to fit my personality. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a beautiful name and I’m glad my mom gave it to me, but I prefer Tess.
I’m a senior at Temple University studying journalism and communication studies. I chose journalism as my major way back when I was a senior in high school solely because I really like to write. Little did I know that my favorite journalism class would be an intro to graphic design for journalists class.
My main goal in life is to work for a fashion magazine. Clothes and fashion are something that I have loved for a long time, so a lot of my design pieces revolve around that passion of mine. Since I love clothes so much I think the best job would be to write for a fashion magazine or even help the design team with the layout of the magazine.
Moral of the story is that I still don’t know exactly what I want to do with my life, but whatever I end up doing will be something that I love because I’m not the type of person who will settle.
Besides all my career aspirations, there’s a lot more information to know about me. One main thing that is vital to my character is my optimism and positivity. I refuse to let negative energy get me down, and I think that is present in a lot of my writing and design projects.
